สวัสดีทุกคน
ในขณะที่เราร่วมกันอดอาหาร เราพบว่าการมีหัวข้อหรือแนวทางบางอย่างเพื่อใช้ในการอธิษฐานร่วม กันในฐานะคริสตจักรนั้นเป็นประโยชน์ ในช่วงที่ผ่านมา เราได้ส่งบทความสั้น ๆ ให้ทุกคนอ่านในแต่ ละวันแต่ในสัปดาห์นี้ เราตั้งใจจะส่งเพียง ข้อความนี้สำหรับวันนี้ เพื่อใช้เป็นแนวทางในการอธิษฐาน และอดอาหารร่วมกันตลอดสามวันข้างหน้า
ทีมผู้นำผู้ปกครองของเรารู้สึกว่า พระเจ้ากำลังทรงเรียกเรากลับไปสู่ “ความรักแรก” ของเรา ซึ่งคล้ายคลึงกับสิ่งที่พระเยซูทรงตรัสกับคริสตจักรในเมืองเอเฟซัสว่า:
วิวรณ์ 2:1-7
1จงเขียนถึงทูตสวรรค์แห่งคริสตจักรที่เมืองเอเฟซัสว่า องค์ผู้ถือดาว 7 ดวงในมือขวา ผู้เดินอยู่ท่ามกลางคันประทีปทองคำทั้งเจ็ดกล่าวดังนี้ว่า
2‘เรารู้เรื่องการกระทำต่างๆ ของเจ้า รู้ถึงงานที่เจ้าตรากตรำและความบากบั่นของเจ้า เรารู้ว่าเจ้าไม่ สามารถอดกลั้นต่อคนชั่ว เจ้าได้ทดสอบพวกที่อ้างตนว่าเป็นอัครทูตแต่ไม่ได้เป็น ซึ่งเจ้าก็พบแล้วว่า เขาพูดเท็จ 3เจ้าบากบั่นและอดทนเพื่อนามของเรา อีกทั้งยังไม่ได้อ่อนล้าไป 4แต่เรามีสิ่งที่จะตำหนิ เจ้าคือ เจ้าได้ละทิ้งรักแรกที่เจ้าเคยมี 5ฉะนั้นจงระลึกว่าเจ้าได้ตกลงมาจากที่ใด เจ้าจงกลับใจ และกระทำสิ่งที่เจ้าเคยทำมาแต่ต้น มิฉะนั้นเราจะมาหาเจ้า และย้ายคันประทีปของเจ้าออกไปจากที่เดิม นอกเสียจากว่า เจ้าจะกลับใจ 6แต่สิ่งดีที่เจ้ามีก็คือ เจ้าเกลียดชังการกระทำของพรรคนิโคเลาส์ ซึ่งเราก็เกลียดชังเช่นกัน 7ผู้ใดมีหูก็จงฟังสิ่งที่พระวิญญาณกล่าวแก่คริสตจักรทั้งหลาย เราจะให้ผู้ที่มีชัยชนะได้กินผลจากต้นไม้แห่งชีวิต ซึ่งอยู่ในสวนสวรรค์ของพระเจ้า’
ขณะที่เราร่วมกันอดอาหาร เรากำลังแสวงหาและกลับไปสู่ “ความรักแรก” ของเราอีกครั้ง เราตั้งความปรารถนาไว้ที่พระองค์ มากกว่าสิ่งต่าง ๆ ในโลกนี้
ตลอดสามวันข้างหน้า เราจะมุ่งเน้นการจุดไฟแห่งความรักที่เรามีต่อพระเยซูขึ้นใหม่ ผ่าน 3 แนวทางด้วยกัน:
วันที่ 1 – รับจากพระหัตถ์ของพระองค์: “พระองค์ทรงแบพระหัตถ์ของพระองค์ และทรงให้สิ่งมีชีวิต ทั้งปวงอิ่มหนำตามความปรารถนา” (สดุดี 145:16) และ “เมื่อพระองค์ทรงแบพระหัตถ์ พวกเขาก็อิ่มด้วยสิ่งดี”
วันที่ 2 – มอบหัวใจที่แตกสลายและน้ำตาของเราไว้กับพระองค์: “ขอทรงเก็บน้ำตาของข้าพระองค์ไว้ในขวดของพระองค์” (สดุดี 56:8)
วันที่ 3 – ร่วมกับพระองค์ในการอธิษฐานวิงวอน: “พระเยซูคริสต์…พระองค์สถิต ณ เบื้องขวาพระหัตถ์ ของพระเจ้า และทรงอธิษฐานขอเพื่อเราด้วย” (โรม 8:34) “พระองค์ทรงพระชนม์อยู่ทุกเวลา เพื่อทูลขอ เผื่อคนเหล่านั้น” (ฮีบรู 7:25) และ “เพราะว่าพระเจ้ามีองค์เดียว และคนกลางก็มีแต่เพียงผู้เดียวระหว่าง พระเจ้ากับมนุษย์ คือพระเยซูคริสต์ผู้ทรงสภาพมนุษย์” (1 ทิโมธี 2:5) รวมทั้งการอธิษฐานของบรรดา ธรรมิกชน (พวกเราด้วย): “และทูตสวรรค์อีกองค์หนึ่งถือกระถางไฟทองคำออกมาและยืนอยู่ที่แท่นบูชา พระเจ้าประทานเครื่องหอมมากมายแก่ทูตองค์นั้น เพื่อให้ถวายร่วมกับคำอธิษฐานของธรรมิกชน ทั้งหมดบนแท่นบูชาทองคำ ที่อยู่หน้าพระที่นั่งนั้น และควันเครื่องหอมนั้นก็ลอยขึ้นไปพร้อมกับ คำอธิษฐานของธรรมิกชนทั้งหลาย จากมือทูตสวรรค์สู่เบื้องพระพักตร์ของพระเจ้า” (วิวรณ์ 8:3–4)
ขณะที่เราร่วมกันอดอาหาร ขอให้เราจับจ้องสายตาไว้ที่พระองค์ เรารอคอยพระองค์เหมือนคนยามที่ เฝ้ารอรุ่งเช้า พระองค์จะเสด็จมาอย่างแน่นอน สิ่งที่เราต้องทำคือยังคงรอคอยพระองค์ต่อไป
ขอให้เราเฝ้าระวัง ตื่นตัว และเตรียมพร้อมอยู่เสมอ — ด้วยหัวใจที่เปิดกว้าง ดวงตาที่เปิดออก และหูที่พร้อมจะ ฟัง — พร้อมที่จะรับ พร้อมที่จะมองเห็น และพร้อมที่จะได้ยินจากพระผู้เลี้ยงที่ดีของเรา กษัตริย์ของเรา พระบิดา อับบาของเรา และพระสหายของเรา

Hello friends,
As we fast, we find it helpful to have some handles to pray through as a church. In the past, we’ve sent a blog post every day but this week we just want to send this for today to help guide the next three days of prayer and fasting together. Our eldership team has felt that God is calling us back to our First Love, similar to Jesus’ message to the church in Ephesus:
Revelation 2:1-7
To the angel of the church in Ephesus write: ‘The words of him who holds the seven stars in his right hand, who walks among the seven golden lampstands.
2 “ ‘I know your works, your toil and your patient endurance, and how you cannot bear with those who are evil, but have tested those who call themselves apostles and are not, and found them to be false. 3 I know you are enduring patiently and bearing up for my name’s sake, and you have not grown weary. 4 But I have this against you, that you have abandoned the love you had at first. 5 Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent, and do the works you did at first. If not, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place, unless you repent. 6 Yet this you have: you hate the works of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate. 7 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who conquers I will grant to eat of the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God.’
As we fast, we are seeking out first love. Setting our desire on him rather than on earthly things. The next three days we’ll focus on rekindling that love for Jesus in three ways:
Day 1 - Receiving from His Hands: “You open your hand; you satisfy the desire of every living thing”(Ps. 145:16), and “When you open your hand, they are filled with good things” (Ps. 104:28).
Day 2 - Giving Him our Broken Hearts and Tears: “Put my tears in your bottle” (Ps. 56:8)
Day 3 - Joining Him in Intercession: “Christ Jesus…is at the right hand of God, who indeed is interceding for us” (Rom. 8:34); “He always lives to make intercession” (Heb. 7:25); and “there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus” (1 Tim. 2:5). And the prayers of the saints (us): “And another angel came and stood at the altar with a golden censer, and he was given much incense to offer with the prayers of all the saints on the golden altar before the throne, and the smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, rose before God from the hand of the angel. (Rev. 8:3–4).
As we fast, we fix our eyes on Him. We wait for him like watchmen waiting for the morning. He will surely come. We just need to keep waiting on Him. Let’s remain watchful, alert, and ready — with open hearts, open eyes, and open ears — ready to receive, to see and to hear from our Good Shepherd, our King, our Abba Father, our Friend.
See you tonight and tomorrow at 6pm! On Thursday, come with food to share at 5pm; leave food downstairs in the courtyard before you come up. We’ll eat after prayer and worship and break the fast with communion upstairs.
